Pakistan Champions have appointed Mohammad Hafeez as their captain in WCL 2025. He takes over Younis Khan who led the team in the inaugural season. Pakistan Champions were runners-up in the first World Championship of Legends.
Pakistan Champions squad for WCL 2025 is a mix of seasoned players and explosive talents. The squad includes: Mohammad Hafeez (c), Shoaib Malik, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Amin, Sharjeel Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed (Wicketkeeper), Shahid Afridi, Asif Ali, Aamer Yamin, Wahab Riaz, Rumman Raees, Sohail Tanvir, Imad Wasim and Sohail Khan.
Recent squad additions have strengthened Pakistan's prospects. Pakistan Champions have added former all-rounder Imad Wasim to their squad for the second edition of the WCL 2025, which will take place in the United Kingdom later this month. 
Imad Wasim brings extensive T20 experience to the squad. Imad brings a wealth of T20 experience with him. He has played 395 T20 matches throughout his career and has played 75 T20 Internationals on behalf of Pakistan. Wasim made 4,148 runs including 12 half-centuries and 366 wickets at a very good average of 24.32.
Pakistan Champions have added fast bowler Rumman Raees to their squad. Mohammad Hafeez was appointed captain this week. The tournament includes retired players from six countries: Pakistan, India, Australia, South Africa, England, and the West Indies.
England Champions will be led by World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan for the second consecutive season. Set to electrify fans from July 18 to August 2, 2025, this highly anticipated tournament will once again bring together legendary former international cricketers in a thrilling T20 format.
The tournament structure remains competitive with substantial stakes. A total of 18 matches will be played, with the opening game featuring a thrilling clash between England and Pakistan. The highly anticipated tournament will feature 18 matches across four iconic venues in England.
Pakistan Champions will play five group-stage matches. The schedule includes a match against India Champions. Pakistan Champions have five group matches in the tournament.
The tournament includes legends like Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard, Mohammad Hafeez, Brett Lee, Eoin Morgan and AB de Villiers.
The opening WCL match at Edgbaston is important for both teams. Pakistan Champions finished second in the first tournament and want to win this time. The England Champions will play at home. Pakistan Champions lost the final last year and returned for the second season of the World Championship of Legends.
