World Championship of Legends (WCL) is scheduled to begin on the 18th July, with Pakistan Champions taking on England Champions in the tournament opener. The 2nd edition of the highly awaited World Championship of Legends is commencing on the hosts England Champions taking on Pakistan Champions in the opening match at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
Pakistan Champions have appointed Mohammad Hafeez as their captain in WCL 2025. He takes over Younis Khan who led the team in the inaugural season. Pakistan Champions were runners-up in the first World Championship of Legends.

The squad includes: Mohammad Hafeez (c), Shoaib Malik, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Amin, Sharjeel Khan, Sarfaraz Ahmed (Wicketkeeper), Shahid Afridi, Asif Ali, Aamer Yamin, Wahab Riaz, Rumman Raees, Sohail Tanvir, Imad Wasim and Sohail Khan.
Recent squad additions have strengthened Pakistan's prospects. Pakistan Champions have added former all-rounder Imad Wasim to their squad for the second edition of the WCL 2025, which will take place in the United Kingdom later this month.

He has played 395 T20 matches throughout his career and has played 75 T20 Internationals on behalf of Pakistan.
